Welcome to Del Mar Woods. Tucked away, among massive Oaks, graceful Elms, and stately Ash. Peaceful surroundings where the morning songs of Robbins, Wrens and Bluebirds really do help to start the day right.

Del Mar Woods is an unincorporated subdivision located at the northeast intersection of Waukegan Rd and Half Day Rd, between the south limits of Lake Forest and the northern limits of Bannockburn with easy access to two interstate roads: Highway 294 and Skokie 41. Beautifully situated in the virgin forest in Deerfield IL. You will see varying architectural styles of homes from small brick ranch type houses – 1940s and elegant, large traditional styles houses that have become established in the modern era – This eclectic style of homes makes a ride through the neighborhood refreshing. Once inside people unwind from the daily stresses of life. 

Del Mar Woods was originally developed in 1940s with 56 ranch type brick houses for young families.  Fast forward, 80 years later, we have 88 houses with mixed population of retirees and adult families with kids.

Relaxed, serene and peaceful are the words that describe what Del Mar Woods is today and it is our hope that we continue to be a place for residents to live comfortably while being in the middle of the most desired location in the area.
